Decision Vj-190/2005 of the Competition Council of the Hungarian Competition Authority in the case E.ON TITÁSZ

The Competition Council of the Hungarian Competition Authority (Gazdasági Versenyhivatal - GVH) established in its decision, issued on 20 March 2006, that E.ON TITÁSZ Rt. infringed the provisions on the prohibition of abuse of a dominant position of the Hungarian Competition Act. In the period between March and September 2004 E.ON TITÁSZ set an unfair selling price for the supply of electricity to temporarily active undertakings (e.g. merchants at fairs).

The Competition Council imposed a fine of HUF 2 million on E.ON TITÁSZ.
