Under the Act on the Supervision of Regulated Activities, the Concession Council was established and held its first meeting yesterday.
The task of the Concession Council operating within the framework of the Supervisory Authority for Regulated Activities is to develop a uniform state concession law practice, as well as to issue recommendations, guidance, notices, prospectuses and guides to facilitate the application of the legislation on concessions. The Chairman of the six-member Council is dr. Marcell BIRÓ, the Vice President, who was elected during the constitutive sitting, is Csaba Balázs RIGÓ, and the members are dr. Ernő MURÁNYI, dr. László KOVÁCS, dr. László NAGY and Bence GONDA.
The Supervisory Authority for Regulated Activities was established on 1 October 2021 with the aim of creating a predictable regulatory and operational environment for sectors of the national economic importance.
